$5 bucks on the door with a flyer from J Day or $10 if you don't have one. It's the official after party at Kings Arms which is from 7pm - which is after the main J Day event at Albert park that day (12pm-4:30pm) which only has DJs and speakers and stuff during the day. Looking forward to trying some of that Jamaican Me Hungry!

George Clinton this sat y'all!

Posted by tomachi on April 20th, 2011 filed in Gigs

When George Clinton first came to New Zealand I was totally blown away and it was the best concert I'd ever been to - 3 hours long too. That was at the St James, and now he is coming back and playing at the Powerstation this saturday, so don't be silly and miss that. Well OK, maybe I will forgive you since you probably have other plans for Easter and all, but man... this guy is up there with Stevie Wonder and James Brown and all them mega massive forces from another funky planet.
