Intentionally describing groups of people in a derogatory manner is certainly bad and negative... I wasn't referring to homo-sexual however, in fact I was just stating 1 persons name, which is neutral and factual. Since I had no intentionWhen an artist paints a picture he must discriminate against colour, this good.<\/p>\n

When a scientist describes his finding, his hypothesis, his null-hypothesis, his data, and his conclusion, \"respect for those who may find it upsetting\" is not only illogical to hold and consider but non-trivial to realise as an abstract concept isn't it? Like how Voltaire upset the church which his electricity? How could he know it would be upsetting to say an apple fell off a tree etc?<\/p>\n

Finally in order to insult a person, first there has to be a person yes? A victim of the disrespect? Who could possibly be insulted by my referring to the name of scientist born in 1699? To put it another way, bigotry, racism, and intolerance is undoubtedly an abusive behavior when it affects a person or many people materially and viscerally, but if it wasn't intended and you got all huffy aren't you playing yourself?<\/p>\n

Not that words aren't hurtful and violent, but in order to be upsetting sure they have to be spoken to a person surely?<\/p>\n
