Catch us at Rakinos this fri

'one million dollars' have two gigs in Auckland over the next 9 days before we set off to Vanuatu. This Friday we'll be playing our first gig for the year at Rakinos. Rakinos has always been a favourite and it's where we played our first gig nearly three years ago. Don't miss what will be the most intimate gig that we'll play this year. It's only $10 and we'd recommend that you get up there early-ish as it will fill up quickly. Friday the 8th of October we'll be back at Safari for our Farewell to Auckland gig. Some of the funds raised from this gig will go to the village that we'll be staying in while in Vanuatu. To make the night a big event our friends from Dejusa and Farmer Pimp will also be playing and The Natural Disasters will probably place some records on the gramophone players.

Big news for the Fest' Napuan gig, it will be broadcast live on Radio Australia. That means we'll be heard all through the South Pacific, Asia and through Australia. That will probably be our biggest audience ever.

Meanwhile, in Tomachi News, final mixes are done and I have Angus McNaughton setting up the mastering for The Hotel Vermont Sessions this weekend. Designer Tana Mitchell is kicking it in to work on the layouts for the artwork.

SJD is still number 1 on the Indie charts (see below).
